I've been on the hunt for a B5 S4 lately and have come to find how difficult and rare these cars are around my part of California, however, I did come across this one.. http://stevens-creek-buick-pontiac-g...px?iid=2101165. I saw that it wasn't a stick but I am open to having a tip. I'm not sure how much I should offer right now but it's honestly almost in my range. I was thinking $11.5 but am not sure. What do you guys think? Should I pursue?

I don't know about the S4s at all, but as I'm 98% sure they are the same body as the A4, year for year, that's not an '02, since the B5 body style stopped in '01.5.

 

Thats still definitely a B5. B6s have the different tails and trunk, and a somewhat different front end. When I was doing the research buying my car, I noticed the S4 sometimes lags a year behind the A4 in style updates, but maybe someone more experienced can chime in here...

 

This is a B5 S4 They made them up to 2002.

Absolute lowest offering $11, maybe even $10.5. A car like that would go for the same price around here as it would where you are. I'm in MD, but I did notice VA cars are a helluva lot cheaper. Can't tell ya much bout CA though.

 

No sir, the B5 S4s last year was '02. You must be thinking of the A4.

 

If you could pick it up for even 11.5 or 12 in Cali, I would jump on it. That is a great price. I see '00 S4s going for 15ish with over 100k miles on them, and I'm in chicago.
