Default S2000

Crazy s2000 engine bay. Sorry its a crappy phone pic. Talked to this guy for a bit at a gas station, said he was putting about 300 to the rear wheels. Super nice lookin car, SSR wheels, slammed, surprisingly good sounding exhaust...and this crazy comptech supercharger.

And while i'm here...2 s4's. Ran with the black one for a while, cool chick driving.

I bet that centrifugal supercharger is completely useless in that S2000. Like, as you move up the tach, it's like nothing, nothing nothing nothing nothing nothing (6500rpms) okay here's sometTHIIGNNAIGFANSOCASIOGFAOISGIJPASJKFLASJKFHOLY SHIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!!! (shift) nothing nothing whooOAOOAAOAOOOaAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!

LOL

But I don't think that's how it would work. It's a supercharger, not a turbo. So it should give a pretty good boost at low revs as well. If the engine is tuned right it could have a very nice range of power (would need different cams to take advantage of all that extra air with the VTEC.)

No. It has plenty of torque. That set-up looks very similar to the one I helped my friend pick up in Cali that I posted about a while back.

Trust me, there is nothing uncontrolable about 300whp. Not even almost.

No, it has no low end torque and only a little more any high end, thats why you have to launch that car at 6,500rpm...

That S2000 set up looks great. I love the cockpit on those cars. My friend just picked up a used 05 and it is a great driving car. I prefer the earlier model though before they adjusted the revs. It just felt more "hardcore" and purposeful. Great car either way

I'm sorry, how many supercharged S2000s have you driven?

Im sorry, but how much torque can a supercharger add to the stock 150+, Turbo is where the torque is at...

so don't tell me it has a lot of torque, because it doesn't.

Ok, so that means you haven't driven any. No point in me arguing with someone who doesn't know anything about the car in question.

And you think turbos are better for torque than superchargers? Wow. You have much to learn.
