Number of fingers x number of toes = 100 (unless you're some kind of mutant)
100 / (1/2) = 200
200 + 12 = 212

 

Could be 172 if they are being pedants, and saying 8 fingers, and 2 thumbs...

111 candles.. Burn 100 leaves you with 10 spares with the wax.. burn them, and it leaves you with 1...100 + 10 + 1 = 111
