RE: ricers...
Haha, glad you liked that.
I think the best instance ever was this one:
I was coming out from PT's Grill one day (I was driving the Type-R Hatch), and I see some random kid looking at my car like he was about to unload on it. I walked up and said "Hey man... Falling in love with my door glass there?" He laughed and said "Yo tat tings tight off the hook mayne... Dats my Integra Type-R over there." So I immediately broke my neck to see what he was pointing at... What I saw gave me a good laugh. A 1991 Integra LS, body kit, dual exhaust, 18" ICW wheels (Which he was refering to as Spoon Racing Wheels), and green tint... Not to mention Type-R decals all over the car. I said "Nice dude... *looks away to conceal half smile*"
Now here comes the great part... He asks me "Yo so wat you got in this Hatch here... It clean." I looked at him and said "Just a B-Series swap" he looked at me and said "Ahhh sweet mayne" and asked me to pop the hood. After he inspected my engine for quite some time (Obviously having no idea what he was looking at), he said "Yeah it's nice man... Where you get that red engine cover at?" I laughed and said "It came with the engine dude." I got in my car and started driving away... He sprints to his car and burns out leaving the parking lot, trying to catch up to me.
Well we end up cruising next to each other, and it just so happened that we had some galloping room. He starts revving, with a smile on his face, drops down and starts crawling slightly faster. I rev match and down shift to third gear (driving at 55mph) I look over at him, and give him a thumbs down (His smile quickly turned) as I hit 5,800RPM, and letting VTEC scream in his ear right before I go flying a few bus lengths ahead of him.
The look on his face was priceless... Hope he saw the license plate.
Hahahaha... I love my license plate.
