Here's what I got:

SONY XPLOD XM-DS1300P5 MONO CAR AMP AMPLIFIER
800 watts MAX x 1 @ 2 ohms
400 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms
subsonic filter (for cleaner SOUND)
Class D mono design
low-pass crossover - 0-12 Db
speaker- and preamp-level inputs
preamp outputs
variable bass boost (0-10 dB)
subsonic filter
remote bass control with 19-3/4' cable
requires 4-gauge power and ground cables
gold-plated connectors
11-11/16"W x 2-3/16"H x 11-1/2"D

It has a 2 yr warranty most ive seen are only 1 yr.

yeah, they splice into the rear speaker wires. I'm not sure if you get to keep using them. If you go to a shop, they can tell you exactly what you need to do and get.

when you splice the adapter in, I'm not sure how the head unit will react to it. It may significantly reduce the output of your rear speakers... or you may have to run the adapter only off the rear speaker wires, and unhook the speakers completely, to get the necessary signal to your amp. You'd have to talk to someone who's done it or something

yeah, I was gonna link that but didn't like it. you can go to bestbuy and ask for a line converter for the amp. the guy should know what your talkin about. What I was saying is some amps have them built in.
