BTW... no offense but do you live on these forums, Panda? I noticed you joined a month before me and posted close to 10X more than me.
Holy cow, and I thought I posted a lot. I think he's trying to replace ImolaS4!

It's that long half page welcome message that panda posts 100 times a day.

I used to be young and mature...I am now moving in a retrograde motion, towards older and less mature....timing is everything!

And now for something completely different.

The largest US Labor coalition just lost two of it's largest member organizations. 48% of U.S. workers used to be represented by Unions, now it is down to 12%.

For all you guys/gals in Europe, are labor unions strong or weak? Are the majority of workers independent or affiliated with unions??

Unions are a joke. They have been turned into a catalyst for workers to not actually work. I know they do serve some purpose, but generally they only protect the horrible workers. I mean at UPS the only way to get fired is to steal or kill someone. Even then the union could probably get your job back.

Well..it is a matter of balance....without unions you wouldn't hvae 40 hour work week, minimum wage, payed vacation, medical benifits, retirement plans, savings plans, educational benefits....a pretty long list of things we now consider standard.
