We did one several months ago where we tried to see how many times we could quote inside of a quote inside of a quote inside of a quote inside of a quote inside of a quote inside of a quote...

came out to something like 54, if memory serves. other than that, I don't think there's a numerical limit. it can go on for a long as there's space on teh server... or an admin [sm=lockeddance.gif]'s the thread.
