Yeah, I have a rather strange taste in music. One of my favorite albums is Metallica playing live with an actual orchestra. It seems quite illogical, but it sounds amazing.

That album was responsible for starting my Metallica phase a few years back. Then they got all pissy about Napster, and I realized Lars Ulrich is a terrible drummer, and then they released St. Anger, and I haven't listened to them much ever since.

I spent most of today listening to various a cappella cover songs. Groups like Tonic Sol-fa, M-Pact, Voice Male, Rockapella... good stuff, man. Good stuff.

Oh, and I'm currently running The Best of The Guess Who as seating music here at the theater.

well i'm on my way out to get some cd's. don't really know what to get.
i just get tired of the same stuff i have.
i haven't ever downloaded individual songs. maybe that's a better thing to do. if i do that, do they get downloaded to my hard drive or to my itunes????....cuz i can't burn anything from my itunes file.
i'mnot a computer wiz so i ask for help when necessary.

also in the news today....
my razor's screen is all white.my contract is due to be renewed, so i think i may get an iphone. don't really need all the bells and whistles that it has, but what the heck.

 

If you get an iPhone, I will laugh at you.

Get another Motorolla or an Audiovox, I've always had good experiences with those.

As for downloading, I personally use BearShare Pro and/or BitTorrent. BearShare is probably easier to use, but if you don't get the pro version it's spyware city. BitTorrent is more for downloading large chunks of files at once, like for example an entire season of a TV show, or a full discography of a musical artist. Usually when you download songs, they go to a folder on your HDD that you chose ahead of time. Which should be the same as for iTunes - all of that is stored in a folder on your HDD which is assigned in the preferences in iTunes. You should be able to burn CDs using iTunes.

As for CDs to get, have you ever heard of the band Spoon? I was listening to their album Gimme Fiction today, it's pretty damn good. They have a song in the movie "Stranger Than Fiction".

well i'm afraid to get another razor. i had no problems with it for 2 years, but a lot of my friends have them and always have trouble with them so i'm not gonna get another one.
i kinda like having a flip phone so i don't have to lock it when i put it in my purse.i guess i'll just have to go to the cingular store and check out what they have.

and as far as downloading... i'll just try a few songs and see how it works. guess you kinda just learn by doing.

 

I will laugh at you if you get an iPhone because I've seen several people with iPhones around town here, and they all look like the sort of people I would laugh at anyhow.
