Blizzak LM-25s arrive on Friday....or so they say...I am very skeptical...

 

I remember needing to buy snow tires. I don't see that need arising in the near future though....

So far in Vegas this winter, it has snowed for about 37 minutes.

 

Ah...vegas....didn't you guys get a huge winter storm last year or maybe the year before...during the winter...brought a bunch of snow and sleet and really caused havoc?

 

Hell, man, at the first flake of snow, Vegas people start buying dried food and emergency blankets. I honestly think that 1/2 an inch of snow on the ground would shut this city down. Pansies.....

 

That would be the most appropriate time for such a storm, wouldn't it?

or sound like a broken record....just started snowing here...expecting 3-6 inches...and of course, my snowtires are still MIA.

 

Here in DC they PHREAGK OUT at the mere POSSIBILITY or a WARNING about a THREAT of snow. I can distinctly remember images of convoys of snow-plows and salt-trucks parked under the overpasses as I drove home from work, for a snow storm that was perdicted to drop 2-3 inches of snow THE NEXT MORNING!!!

Here's MY take on schitt like that... And, it applies to ALL weather conditions, ANY kind of traffic. If, I say IF the thought of driving frightens you, IN ANY WAY, SHAPR, or FORM...






STAY THE PHUGK HOME, AND OUTTA MY WAY!!!

 

On that note...it is snowing like crazy here in Northern NJ....I am sure the commute back to NYC tonight will be a nightmare...a very long and tedious nightmare.

I am with AWD...stay off the damn roads...stay home...go now...leave....hurry before the snow gets too deep for you!

Everytime there is a winter storm warning or a prediction of a NorthEaster...people flock like lemings to the storte to buy perishable goods...milk, eggs, butter, bread...it is just fukking crazy....Like the roads are going to be impassable for days and days ... and you are going to be fighting for your survival....it is just crazy....I guess I should have put this in the pet peeve section!
