yeah, he was WAY hot into that turn, he should have seen it coming. Classic over-correction. Not saying I could do better, just saying...

I didn't see any over correction... The track dips half way into that turn which is the bitch of it. His weight distribution was thrown way off in an instant and he lost traction. He was barely turning the wheel. I think it was a mixture of over confidence with quattro, and not knowing the track. He shoulda slowed down when he saw the viper slowing down. He clearly didn't.

this was discussed maybe 2 months ago on audiworld.

Think the focus was how he should have been 'two feet in' and kept the wheel straight, and maybe he wouldn't have kissed that wall.

Regardless, I laughed, and then felt bad for the car. Oh well, if you have money to buy an R8, and let your friend put it on a track, you should have money to fix an R8.

powering 4 wheels doesnt make much difference when you dont quite have that weight transfer thing down...
