Default Quick question about torque

So if two cars have the same amount of torque lbs but one has it at a lower rpm does that one have more torque or better torque?

there are alot of other options (axle gearing, tranny gearing, tire size, vehicle weight) that will affect acceleration, but if all other variables are equal, the lower torque will move quicker off the line, but then be passed by the other car.

All else being equal, yes, but other factors come into play in the real world. Gearing and final drive ratio. Vehicle weight. Traction. Moon phases... OK, that last one doesn't actually factor in, I coudln't resist.

Everything else being equal ofcourse. But we all know torque is better when the moon is at first quarter.
