RE: Question for the college guys
Im majoring in computer engineering but maybe transfering into mechanical if i like that route later on.Im at UCSB by the way, its a great school if you like the beach and its not as hard to get into as some of the other ones like UCSD and LA. RE: Question for the college guys
So which schools did you end up applying to? I thought you wanted criminal justice originally?
Civil Engineering CalPoly SLO... JUST Registered for my first round of master's degree classes.
Mech Engineering (ME) is a highly respectable engineering. Very well paid, very diverse, and you will always have a job. Mechatronics (robotics) has really progressed this field a lot too. My friend Patrick just graduated and got 3 70K job offers. He went grad school so he could be worth more. Of course ME is really tough, they are one of the 3 who take the professional engineering exam (Civil Electrical, and Mech.) and that is an 8 hour test of general knowledge with 2 years work experience and 8 hours more testing. I just took the first half, it was freaking tough. WOW.
