In the past to become a pharmacist you just had to get a 4 yr degree ( a BS in Pharmacy)

Now.. that degree is no longer available. You actually have to become a doctor of pharmacy (Pharm D.)
That requires 2 years of pre-pharmacy work then 4 years of Professional Study (School of Pharmacy) =6 years

If you'd wish to go AFTER the pharm d., you would earn a Ph.d, but thats only used for people that want to reseach drugs or teach in a pharm school

the AACP ranks Duq as one of the top 5 in the country...and the list that i found ends at 10, but i know that pitt is 58th in the country out of all universities..i cant find WVU on either list...so im curious why you (or anyone else) would want to go to wvu?

Because I live in the Northern Panhandle of West Virginia, right outside of Pittsburgh Pa, therefore, I would be out of state

Believe me, I would love to go to Duquesne, they have such a great program, but it would cost me around $45,000 a year to do so..

A little too much for me [&:]
