i dont get your point but having ko4 is safe on tiptronic. its for sure stick is faster, after 20-30 mph it matter about how your motor performs, if you want to work on tip, you can upgrade the torq converter and line up with the stick a4s with np. in a long run if you are looking to do serious mods like bigger turbo then the ko4 which the tip tranny probly cannot hold but you can strenghten your tranny from levelten. it matters what you want to drive and invest in but many mechanics do not suggest to mess around with the tip tranny because if something f-cks up you are probbly going to have to replace it which is waist of your money. i wouldnt go no more then ko4 on tip if you wanna play safe but my opionion, if you have the money and going to keep your car why not?
