Leave it. If she always complains about him yet stays with him then she's probably a little messed up. I also agree with Dan. Moving in on her while he is away would be a dick move. A buddy of mine got broken up with while he was in basic. It definitely hurt his performance for a week or so. It took a lot for all of us to get him back up to speed.
