touchy subject...abortion after the first trimester is MURDER. the babies actually have formed appendages and features. breaking open the skull and pulling a fetus out???? sounds kinda f'd up to me, but this is AMERICA and we all have the freedom of choice. if people were just responsible enough and took the proper precautions. there would be far less uneducated, irresponsible pregnant people that grow up to raise uneducated, irresponsible babies. Well, take this one step further. Along the same lines as the argument about the death penalty serving as a deterent against violent crime, do you think that if girls knew they didn't have the option of an abortion that it would deter them at all from taking the chance of getting pregnant in the first place? Personally, I don't think a 15 year old should be able to make that decision alone.

it's not exactly an easy decision ofr most people dude. it takes a lot of time and consideration and talking to people around u. it's not just like "i'm pregnant? off to the abortion clinic"
believe it or not, i know a few girls that have seriously considered keepin the kid (one of even a rape)

Regardless of the circumstances, I just flat out don't believe a 14 or 15 year girl is mature enough to make a decision of such huge magnitude alone. Hell, we can't drink unitl we're 21, can't vote until 18 and can't drive until we're 16. Yet a 15 or 14 year old can have an abortion without parental consent? I can't fathom it it's so far beyond ludicrous to me.

it's so true though. i completly agree that 14 yr olds should have parental consent or somehting to have an abortion. up to 18 or something they need consent, but when it comes down to it, i'm pro choice. just, you guys are right, we need limits.

So if you were 18, you wouldnt need parental consent to kill someone?
