I could just shoot you in the face and then say, oops, my mistake, I would like to use my get out of jail free card. When did you first find out where babies came from, cus that day you took on the responsibility of choice, to screw or not to screw, take some responsibility for your actions. And as for the pill without the parents knowing, As thier legal gardian, they should be involved in all decisions about the heath and well being of thier child. Some people have bad reactions to the medicines in birth control. it would be to the benifit of the parent, the kid and the doctor to know what the girl was taking prior to making any life saving decions.

I am (obviously by the poll) pro Choice. There are several reasons, rape being one. Secondly, if the government outlaws abortion (which will never happen...anyways) then we will be reverting back to the days of the back alley coat hanger abortions of the sixties and seventies, and I don't think anyone would say that that method of abortion is better than one in a clean controlled environment. Let's keep moving forward, not backwards. Face it, if it were to be outlawed, do you seriously think that abortion will cease and desist? NO WAY, it will just go underground. Let's keep it legal for women who want to get the procedure done, for whatever reason they may have.

I do NOT condone these young girls that are having like 3, 4, 5 abortions, using it as "birth control" is just WRONG. THese girls don't realize the damage they are doing to their bodies with each consecutive abortion. When they grow up and actually want to conceive, then they may not be able to b/c they have scarred their uterus from repeated abortions. This is why I think girls under the age of 18 should have a guardian's permission, or be escorted by a guardian to the clinic. They need to have mental and physical support to go thru a thing such as abortion, not to mention EDUCATION. So many girls do not understand. What the bloody hell happened to sex education in the states? When I was growing up we had to take sex ed in high school, understanding that kids these days are having sex at a much younger age now, but I think it is CRITICAL that we get some education from professionals for our kids today. Kids growing up way too fast, parents not involved in their kids lives, latch key children, the government taking away more and more of the core educational fields in schools = an americal that will soon have more kids raising kids than adults raising kids. It's a sad state of affairs the turn that education in the US has taken.

Sorry for the rant..............[/rant] now, just my $.02

Well under your philosophy, then murder should be legal too. People are going to kill other people regardless if the government bans it. Might as well make it legal eh!??
