The Playstation 3
The thing is seriously sick....I had one for a while (a 60GIG) that was backwards compatible. AT the time I was using my NIkon D40 (newer toy) more than PS3 So I sold the Ps3 for 700$ as a bundle with some other ****.
Well my new one came and I played on it more (hours wise) than the 1st one. **** is sick, you can like download games and demos its like ITUNES for the PlayStation. I am really digging it!!!!
I am actually already looking at upgrading the 80GIG to a *320GB 7200RPM* Drive and considering throwing Yellow Dog Linux on it.
Coming from someone who pretty much ditched console systems when he was 16 and moves to PC's now I am 24 and I can see things have changed alot over the years. Games are hella expensive though $59.99 ....god christ! How are 13 year old kids suppose to buy the dame games.
I think $49.99 should be tagged for all console games.

I've got one myself (and a Wii) and I've been very impressed as to the performance of the PS3... but read this article it was pretty amazing what the did with a bunch of them....

Seems they linked 16 together to calculate blackholes in action. Linked like that they essentially made a super computer! Now that's impressive!
