sounds like a pretty good deal to me, the amp is a decent one and the W3 is good

LMAO -

system is good to go.. still learning the ropes like Chocodog says, to see how much i can push it w/ out
getting too much distortion..

but alas - the car is in the shop for new axles, so I wasnt able to get pics up...
as soon as the car is back I will clean out the trunk & snap some pics for you

PM when you install your new system I might be interested in your current setup.

ORIGINAL: i3uddha

ok...[sm=pimp.gif]

so Im finally growing up & getting my first "big boy" system lmao.

Ive been pricing subs & such for the past few weeks & wanted to get an opinion
from my AF fam. 1st.

im looking at upgrading to an Alpine head unit W/ ipod controls.
but - they want to sell me a Valor double din touchscreen dvd etc.
opinions? I really dont need the extra dvd fancy stuff - plus dont know the brand well.

also - in the interest of saving a bit -
Im thinking of 1 x 10in Alpine Type R sub but I know teh JL W3s are good but a bit more..
anyone have a preference?

ok pics are up...[:-]

I ended up going w/ the simple setup.. a 10inch alpine Type R / a 950 watt amp (Almani)
and the alpine headunit complete w/ the ipod hook up in the glove box...

and some bonus pics for good measure -

one of a ricer complete w/ euro taillights.. the guy was bumpin' mariachi music at the drive in.

the other a decal I thought was hilarious

Yeah I am getting a new stereo and subs to since mine got stolen. How do you like your alpine sub? I am looking at something that has a lot of hard hitting power.
