I knew i could trust the AF Fam to help me out..

Tony - Im getting it all this week hopefully - I find find a shop to give me a good deal.

TK - I was hoping ud catch this thread i appreciate all the input !
Im having everything installed at a stereo shop -
the box is not the alpine all in one unit -
so it'll be a box made at the shop...

remember - not necessarily going for highest top end competition stuff
- I am Ballin on a budget lol

Looks like the only thing different between both is the 9885 includes the remote...so it depends if you want the remote or not. Looks good though.

Yea exact same radio's just a slightly different face and one gets a remote for an extra $100. Take that **** to the bank!

no remote needed - I can be ballin w/ no remote anyhow.

now to get a shop that wont cutthroat me...

Save some gas and call around 1st to see if they even have Alpine products. And try to get an estimate on labor and parts.

ok update quick::

offer on the table - they have no type Rs but will give me a JL W3 instead. (10 in)
amp = audiofonics (sp?) amp at 1000w..
plus the alpine headunit.
installed etc etc for $560.00

any thoughts?
green light? redlight?
