wants to know the 8-ball says if you think the 12v A4 is slow with a stick then imagine it with more weight and an Auto tranny.

TPATPAM should know that I respect the reliability of the 12V, and that my parents don't want me to chip my 1.8T, anyway.

TPATPAM Is giving thanks the The all powerful 12v power plant and if you can't chip then the 12v might be an alternative but should still get a stick.

TPAM is offering up a "ride"

On a totally unrelated note I would love to do a VR6 swap (the 12v VR6 of course) into the A4, it's just a question of money.

And unrelated non TPAM part II, Kolbs I feel your pain, my rents' (being my mom) doesn't want me doing anything to y car, and since she holds the title I can't or she'd take her away from me.

Should know that it's often hard to find a manual in central IL.

I had a FLAWLESS set of 17" A3 wheels for $350 set up, and my parents told me know. I even had a set of Pirelli P6's off an A3 w/12k on them for $150 set up...and they still said no. [:@]

And yes, I've been in a chipped 1.8T that had the OEM sport suspension. It was nice.
