People who deserve a punch in the throat

RE: People who deserve a punch in the throat
I wouldn't consider PETA to be in the same category as Osama bin Laden. One organized an attack on your brethren and the other has had no effect whatsoever on your daily life. You might here their name on Oreilly from time to time but I can't see how you could possibly have a personal grudge against them.

RE: People who deserve a punch in the throat
Plenty of people have had personal attacks perpetrated on them by PETA, for no other reason than that PETA didn't like what the person was doing. I have seen reports of people mobbed, fake furs that people have been wearing destroyed by PETA members, cars owned by clothiers who sell furs (or fake furs) spray painted, keyed, or otherwise damaged.
That is one of the most amusing things about PETA, fur is one of their biggest crusades, but many PETA people have been know to do the same thing to fake furs as they do to real furs. They say it's because fake furs promote real furs, so they're just as bad. What a bunch of nutters, that group.....
If you don't think that they're idiots and deserve a kick in the mouth simply because they haven't done anything to you personally, ok, but they have done many things to many people. If you ignore it simply because you're not the one suffering for it, then you're part of the problem.

First they came for the communists, and I did not speak out—
because I was not a communist;
Then they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—
because I was not a socialist;
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—
because I was not a trade unionist;
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
because I was not a Jew;
Then they came for me—
and there was no one left to speak out for me.

What's amusing to me is that PETA campaigns against fur (I won't even open that can of worms) and the people who actually do the spray-painting and vandalism aren't even members of PETA. You can try to argue with me here but I know for a fact that PETA does not condone violence or any personal attacks. The people that carry out those attacks are members of other groups, most famously the ALF or animal liberation front.
So if I'm somehow part of the "problem" by refusing to think that PETA is on the same level as Osama bin Laden then in my humble opinion you're part of this same "problem" by spreading ignorance on this subject.

In case you haven't noticed, that one hit a nerve with me. Of all the things in the world that I think are stupid, fur has got to be #1. It's for nothing more than pure vanity purposes. Think about it for a sec.
I don't really want to go into all that but if you care to know more I'll be happy to tell you.
