Good, that's great that Texas is spending money on that . With no state income tax, I wonder just how that gets funded. I can't imagine a costly enough parking ticket to justify the cost of pursuing delinquents.

 

You can also have a warrant placed on you if you don't pay the tickets. If it gets real bad a marshal can even pull you over and take your car.
Be aware that parking in NYC is the worst!

The DMV will force you to pay the tickets before you can register the car. Happened to me, the wifey got a parking ticket, I kedt telling her to pay the freakin ticket, and when the registration renewal form came in the mail the ticket was tacked onto the price of the reg. Oh ya she got it in my freakin truck too !!! Also if they add up to be too much, the will put a boot on your car !!!

 

I was driving a car that was not mine, was not insured or registered in a state that i do not live in at twice the posted speed limit in the middle of the night......

they got me for speeding and no proof of insurance.....I didn't want to pay it so a few months later I get a letter from a debt collector....I owed like 900$....

and I still have a stupid point on my DL because of it!
