If you want reliable, and fast, then Japanese is the way to go. 200sx (S15 type thing, not the older ones), MkIV supra, MR2T (althought the jap spec has 45 more hp than US sock one), 300zx, skyline, any of that little lot will have you grinning like a cheshire cat.

If he is looking at getting a mustang, trust me, the LS is far less bulky... like A4 to A8 comparison. Those new mustangs are thick.

 

You could get a 200sx then get a Skyline engine swap...

But there goes the whole reliability thing. The newer WRX's are nice. I was looking at them before I got my A4. Very comfortable, tons of mods, and awd.

 

the thing i haet about WRX is that everyone has one and alot of them are ricers. I ahve always been looking at thema nd for $1600 cobb tuning has a hip and exhaust that will get u 0-60 in 4.9 sec. Thats crazy. I do know thou that the wrx tranny cant handle more than 300hp.

I am going to look at cert. a4s too. I know mustangs are bulky but u can make them crazy fast (the v8s) and i loved mine when i had it. And there for im looking agian but the gas on it is horrible. And no way i am getting a Poresche, too much insurance and many otehr things althou i would love to have one.

 

well get whatever makes you happy and is the best deal.. dont limit yourself to one type of car.. if you see a deal on one.. snag it
