My wife is an ORACLE Database Administrator (DBA) and is currently looking for a full-time job. She is also open to contract/contract to hire/short term assignments.

Anybody know somebody that is hiring? Preferably the job will be Houston, Texas, though she is willing to relocate.

Man, I use to recruit those all the time back in 97/99. All the modules and such... then the tech bubble burst lol...

Has she laid her resume out places like Dice or Monster? Don't know what the business is like out there, but if she's looking into contract-to-hire options find a reputable recruiting firm and they should be able to line her up.

Yeah, she has created a profile on all the main job search websites. She even has uploaded her resume on craigslist:

But things are really bad right now and seems like nobody wants to hire at this time. We are keeping our fingers crossed.
