This all sounds like some movie plot to me haha

How was it?

 

I just got home... it went great. :-) Even put up a couple photos on facebook of the hike. Then dinner, then curled up on the couch watching a movie...

Well, your in a different time zone. It was 3:22AM here.

I have dated her before, about 4 years ago, before I got married to the person I'm going through a divorce with. So, we do kind of know each, just learning about what's happened to each other in the past 4 years.

Ok, play by play, we met at her house at 12:30pm, then drove up this mountain pass in her truck, and started hiking about 1:30pm. The hike took a lot, rock climbing, lifting the dog up over some stuff they couldn't climb. But when we got there it was worth it, the waterfall was really nice.

I got a little cold, she built me a fire. It was cute. I helped, but it was just so cute watching her do that for me. We curled up on a rock together for a little while, had lunch, and talked. After an hour or two, we hiked back.

Her sister called (who I also know already), and asked if we wanted to come over for dinner. She cooked for her husband and brother, who had a fight, and was sitting home with a lot of food and alone. That was around 5-6pm? So, we dropped off the dogs, and went over to see her sister.

We hung out there and talked for a while, then thought it would be fun to curl up on the couch and watch a movie. So, she wanted to go do that at her moms house, which I thought was odd at first. So, we went and rented a couple movies, and took her sister up to her mom and step dads place.

WOW, massive massive massive house up on a huge hill that overlooked all of Tucson, just fricking amazing. Big screen TV alone make it worth going over there for the movie. So we curled up on the couch, her sister was on the other couch, and we cuddled under a blanket... little touching, nothing really, to many people around. We did go out and kiss on one of the patios overlooking Tucson, it was really romantic.

I was late because we watched Australia, DAMN that movie is long.

Then we went back to her place to pick up my car. And I went home :-) It was sort of a first date. But it was sort of like 3 separate dates in one night by the time it was over. She offered to let me stay the night, made it clear no sex, pretty open and honest about that, I like that, no games. But I was exhausted, wanted to shower and needed to check on my dog.
