The only thing that's funny is that people believe all of the other things. But yeah, I only looked at a couple of the pics... didn't look like the cats were in any trauma...
my cat would likely wedge itself in there on her own, she's a freak. Tries to sleep in EVERYTHING, and 90% of the time, it appears to be a physical impossibility.

It's fake. It's supposed to "satirize the human practice of regarding nature as a commodity." The cats aren't hurt when they take the pictures. Cats can squeeze into anything. Don't worry about it.

IT"S FAKE.
The joke is on the people that are stupid enough to believe it. What chemical could possible make a cat's bones malleable enough to conform to a glass case? How would a cat actually survive this kind of torture? It's utterly ridiculous. It's funny because you think it's real. Not because the cats are allegedly in pain.

We aren't laughing at the animal cruelty... lol, we're laughing at you! For being so pissed off about it! They aren't promoting cruelty to animals... they are unearthing gullable people. lol, people eager to get all in hissy fits.

don't even think that it's been only a year or two....try like 5...i remember reading about this back in 2000...some kid from MIT in Mass hosted that joke site just for ***** and giggles.....even though it's fake....it's still not funny....you people that think it's funny are pretty sick just having the thought of animal cruelty as a joke.....why don't we stuff you in a small box and tube feed you....see how you like it....
