One of my favorites for a quick breakfast - ok, it's quick if you make it the night before.

Banana Bread

2 cups sugar
1 cup butter
6 ripe bananas
4 eggs
2½ cups of Cake Flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt

Cream butter and suger in mixer
Add eggs and banana
sift dry ingredients together and slowly incorporate with wet ingredients by hand - do not over mix.

Pour batter into buttered loaf pans and cook at 350 for 45min. You may want to loosely cover with tinfoil after 45min if not done. Check doneness by inserting toothpick(or whatever - dont use your finger) into center and see if it comes out clean. Flip out onto cooling rack and enjoy.

ok...maybe we need to have a 5 star rating for people who try these recipes. give feedback, etc...

what in the world would we do without mr chef......he is amazing, isn't he?
when can you come cook for me?
Kelly, I would come and cook for you whenever you wanted. Just send me a plane ticket and I'm on my way. You need to provide everything else though. I will bring myself and all of the skills attached. I need a ride in the S4 Cab too. That is a must! I think a rating scales should be included and if this thread gets too long, I will start to index the recipes by title and post#.

Thanks Kelly. You AF Ladies rock too!!!

be careful what you ask for.......you may just find a plane ticket in your mailbox and a prime spot in my front seat.

Ok, one of my favs
Shrimp Fettucinni Alfredo

a pound of shrimp quickly seared on each side in a pan with 1/2 stick butter and about 7 cloves of garlic

remove shrimp and lightly brown butter and garlic

add another stick of butter, 8 oz of heavy whip cream and about 5 oz of grated parm cheese

stir and heat till bubbly as you add to taste pepper and ground cayenne pepper

add shrimp back in and serve over fettuccini noodles with a good side of garlic bread

sesame asparagus bundles simple but good. looks nice on the plate.

cut long strips of prosciutto and wrap them around 4 spears asparagus, lay a piece of fontina cheese over the top and drizzle with dark sesame oil. you can bake in the oven or on the grill. when done top with toasted sesame seeds. (i like lots).
sometimes i add long strips of yellow or red bell pepper for added color.

sometimes, its all about presentation. food tastes better if it looks nice on the plate! (that's cooking 101, right chef?)
