There's a quote, from waaaaaaaay back when that starts off, "We also serve who stand and wait..." It's meant to reflect that you can also serve a purpose, to a cause, if you ONLY stand and wait for your turn to help.
You menioned that I inspired you (I'm assuming it was to mod the title of teh thread), and I responded with a bastardized version of the "we also serve" quote.
OK, now, project yourself back in time, mentally, and admit... It was funny, wasn't it? Wasn't it?

and lets think about the rules of AF on this one.. I believe this violates Rule #1
