Apg they do have a point.....even though it is a felony to be showing off your gun, and you could even face jail time for pulling it out, even if it wasn't loaded!

It's called "brandishing" a weapon, FTR. I work physical security, nights & weekends. Usta B licensed for Armed security but the work wasn't there, at the time. Gonna get my GS Cert, this summer and C if I can find me a p/t gig payin $18-20/hr down in DC. WHEN I DO I'LL BE MODDIN MY A$$ OFF!!! My way works betR (see earlier post, this thread). I can claim I was "restraining" him with the car. He will have obviously have attempted to escape where I will have been forced to subdue him with the wet end of his foot! Simple.

EXCEPT in DC. Unless you're law enforcement, AND on duty, firearms are NOT allowed in the U.S. Capitol. FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER. Punishable by looooooooooong jailtime...

As with MOST laws, it only stops "law-abiding" citizens from carrying guns. But, it pretty much guarantees SOME kind of jail time, if you commit a crime WITH a gun. So there is that, at least.
