I'm in socal, planning on driving around tomorrow with no bumper and no hood so I can go to the junk yard and pick up ... wait for it.... a bumper and a hood!

What's the over / under on me getting hassled by the man? I think I'm good as long as I can avoid the Irvine PD.

 

ya the cops might hassle ya but they might let u go after u explain but hell i seen alot worse cars on the streets in SoCal

why not? a quarter of the Mexicans and Okies here do it all the time

It's not the best idea but i have seen worse and driven around in worse. do you have the bumber support because i believe that counts and I don't think you have to have a hood. I say go for it just stay out of Irvine.

 

Wouldn't you know it I get to the top of my hill to the main street in San Clemente and the OC sheriff was sitting there on a motorcycle. He ignored me. I wasn't able to get away from work today so I'm picking up the parts at F.A.S.T. in Duarte tomorrow. $650 for a bumper hood and hinges. *shrug*

I would at least put on the the bumper absorber. There should be no problem without a hood.
