So Nintendo's new game system, developed as the Revolution is going to be called Wii? Nintendo may have just guaranteed that it won't be successful, just an awful idea. The reason is just plain corny, check out the press release on ign.com.

 

Who cares, the gamecube sucked and this probably wont be much better.

haha yea mario tennis is an awsome game, i have it for n64 though.

 

It's a shame....Nintendo lost it along time ago after the N64. Only the handheld market is keeping them around. They make great software but their hardware sucks *****. If they could let go of their pride they should go software only multi-platform, but there's about as much chance of that as hell freezing over.

 

Isnt the new nintendo supposed to be able to play all of the previous NES games?? Thats worth it to me...PILOT WINGS!!! MIKE TYSON'S KNOCK OUT!!! BASEBALL!!! WOOOHOOO!!! ZELDA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Well the only thing keeping them around isn't just their handhelds, its the fact that they make money every time they sell a gamecube... (unlike microsoft's xbox which is only surviving because of microsoft's unlimited resources.)

EDIT: Don't get me wrong, I love halo... I just like how with nintendo you KNOW you're what you're getting, and that it'll be something good that will have good games
