Well got it exchanged - got the black one.

Nintendo doesn't want to play nice with other formats... they never do

Also, buy a Nintendo R4 Upgrade... 4gb microSD cards are cheap as EFF right now.
The thing costs about the same as a game... and from then on, you download all your games.

Palindari, buy the R4 for DSi... It pays for itself in a hurry.

What is the R4?

At $175 he's already getting an expensive device...

^ R4 allows you to download games online instead of buying. It basically looks like one of the games with a Mini SD slot on top.

I still need to get my hands on an R4. I heard they improved some things such as the Wi-Fi capability and multiplayer features. My friend had one couple years ago and we couldn't connect when it comes to multiplayer game (Mario Kart).

Yeah, just google R4 Upgrade or R4 DSi... it's 60 dollars Canadian to buy it here... and a 4gb mem card is like 7 dollars (microSD).
DS games max out at 128mb, with plenty of them being 32 and 64mb. The 4gb card holes a tonne of games.

Trust me, that device will be far cheaper if you buy an R4. It's cheaper than buying 2 games... but from then on, all games are free.

I don't have a DS myself, but if I did...

i also use my DS more than my PSP... there are more fun and innovative games imo... i'd suggest final fantasy iv (a remake in 3d), mario kart for ds, gta chinatown wars, professor layton and the curious village (its a puzzle game that is quite addicting)...
