Default Nice places to live in Denver area?

Any CO residents that can recommend good, safe, quiet neighborhoods in the Denver area?

At the moment I have been given Littleton, Broomfield, Englewood, Highlands Ranch?

Can any locals on here share more info? TIA.

Ugh. No Broomfield. Too far to Denver. [:'(] Same with Highlands Ranch.

Englewood, Parker? Thornton, Westminster. You have a family, correct?

No kids, just me and my wife.

We want peace and quiet, safety, and fairly decent access to the airport (for her) and the mountains (for me).

We stayed in littleton once and we liked it there.

Are you going to be working in the city of Denver?

The entire area has pretty good airport access now; it's about 50 miles from my house and takes 45 minutes to get there. A tollway system has been set up in a ring around the city, and one branch of it goes directly to the airport. Mountains are a little trickier. I'd say probably somewhere northwest of the city. Littleton is one of the richest suburbs of Denver, and rather far from the mountains, even far from mountain-expressway I-70. Maybe Englewood or Morrison...

With those criteria, probably Golden should be thrown into the mix...there are a bunch of new developments along I-70 that are halfway between civilization and ski-resorts.
