How many coaches in that situation would actually go for two?
I think most guys would take the PAT, since that's got a better chance of making it, and then hoping for a good overtime

 

The way I see it is the coin flip is a 50/50 chance and almost always who ever wins the flip wins the game. Now you have the same chance of winning on a 2pt. Why not go for it and keep your teams fate in your hands rather than risk losing the flip? Plus we didnt stop them once in the 4th q so Shanny went for it and we're 2-0 and SD is crying about a bunch of shoulda, woulda, couldas. My answer to that is SD shoulda scored a TD instead of either one of their FGs early in the game, then they woulda been up by 5 even after the Broncos scored the late TD making a 2pt conv pointless and then they coulda been 1-1.

 

Hey , I'm not crying about it, and yes your team did capitalize at the end of the game !!! But you know and I know and everyone else knows that Denver wouldn't have won that game if that stupid ref. didn't blow that whistle !!! We came back, were up by 7 and your QB fumbles the ball, and we recover it......Ya Denver got the W.......but they didn't win that game !!!

I agree. I was cussing at Cutler for 2 mins while the refs discussed it and I thiught there was no way that was going our way. You could even tell everyone in teh stadium was lke "WTF?!?! We get the ball back?" Only in the NFL can an obscure rule become the most widely known rule in the book in 1 play(tuck rule anyone?).
