Jestnomen, you may try what I do. I always do 50 pushups, 50 jumping jacks, and 100 crunches 45-130 minutes after every time I eat. You're metabolism’s the highest then, so it uses all that energy to build muscle. And doesn't go revert to fat, by letting it go to waste. I've seen great results with it. And you don't have to go to the gym. But you should also jog around the neighborhood, and maybe hit the gym once a week still.
