Default New wheels!? Anybody with a B5 live near Anaheim?

Anybody here live near Anaheim with a B5? I'm in need of a favour... I'm wanting to buy some wheels... but the fitment is VERY aggressive... possibly TOO aggressive to make it work. I'm like 3000 miles away... so I don't wanna buy these wheels unless I have some kind of idea of whether they'll fit.
They are 18x8.5 fronts and 18x9.5 rears, 32mm offset all around. I was hoping to run 225/40/18 up front and 265/35/18 rears... As you can imagine, I'm pushing (possibly exceeding) the limits.

What's the wdith and offset of the stock wheel? My concern would be the upper arm on the front, I remember my S4's tires were so close to that arm I couldn't fit my pinkie between them.

If you know the width and offset of the stockers the you can do the math to measure exacly where the new ones will sit relative to all the close parts of the car.

Hrmm, well it's tough because when you get into different tire sizes and stretching the tires over wide wheels... it's hard to say what's going to rub where. I just spoke with the guy I bought my S4 seats from, and he's running 19 x 8.5 fronts and 19 x 9.5 rears... and running 235 35 19 front 245 35 19 rear on a b5 s4 and he's getting away with it. The wheels I'm after are 18" although that makes no different. I did a bit of research and the tire size I'd actually want to run is 225/40/18 front and 255/35/18 rear...

Silver I know what you mean about the clearance, but the stock wheels have a very tame offset... 38mm or something, where these have 32mm all around. The guy I bought my seats from also has 32mm all around... so I have a fairly good idea that these will fit after some serious fender rolling. I just don't think I can run the tire size that I want to... his 245/35/19 are very tight, and I wanna go 255 to have the same rolling diameter exactly.

So fitment isn't so much an issue anymore... I am sure that I can make them work. I'd still like to find ANYBODY who lives near Anaheim now... to verify that this dude is legit. He's a newbie on the forum he's listed the wheels on... 6 posts.

Hrmm... I'm so torn. It's a lot of money for me to risk it... I'm gonna talk to my body shop early next week and see how they feel about flairing my rear fenders about 10 mm... and what they'd charge me for something like that. I know I can fit a 245 wide tire on a 9.5" wheel with 32ET in the rear... and that's stock. I'm thinking with a bit of help I can get a 255 back there, 225's up front... and I'd be golden. Might need to run a 5mm spacer... but we'll see. It'd look badass, that's for sure.
