I have always wanted an older mustang. Well, I got the itch to buy a new car and was at a lot looking. I looked across the street to a little dealer who sells older muscle and euro cars, and he had a red 66 mustang coupe sitting up front. I talked to the owner, and tomorrow the car should be sitting in my garage (the truck has to move outside[:@] ). It needs some paint and body work, but I dont care. I wanted a 67, but I love this car just as much cuz it is gonna be mine!!!!! I cant remember the last time I was this excited!

I should be able to get pics up in a couple of days. It does need some paint and body work, and alot of TLC, but I plan on keeping it for many, many years. And parts are super cheap, so it wont kill me to restore it.

 

Congrats man. I love the older Mustang's. I know it's been said before but when you get a chance, post some pics. Also, keep us updated when you get some major work done to it.

 

Well, the truck is pretty much as modded as it is going to get, and the mrs. wont let me touch the car, so all the attention (and money) will now be on fixing up the mustang. Man I cant wait til tomorrow. Waiting sucks!!

I have a 1970 Mustang in the Garage. Its a lot of fun to mod because everything is simple. The only drawback is 4wheel drum brakes that doesnt stop very well.

 

its called granada front discs son as for parts man check out mustangs plus they have lots o good stuff and are really nice people
