Haha, I glanced at the acer ferrari's a while back, when I was laptop shopping... they arent really that overpriced, but they are definately charging you a slight premium to get the looks. The one's I were looking at were the 3400lmi's or something like that, when they were glossy ferrari red. They are definately a performance notebook, which is precisely why I didn't go that route... I wanted portability, and the ferrari will suck a battery dry in 2 hours. My fujitsu can get towards 6 on a single battery!

But congrats on the purchase, if you plan on using it much, buy a mouse (though if it's like the old ferrari's it came with a matching mouse), and a bloody keyboard... laptop keyboards KILL your wrists.

I'm talking like you've never owned one before... Hmm.

Oh, and for a super trick bag, check out the oakley icon 2.0, I scored one when I started school this past january, it's awesome.

Yep yep, thats teh one I was looking at, all shiny red. You know it's gotta be fast! -- as it sucks the batteries dry! Great notebook though, if you can have it plugged in -- just like the alienware stuff. Acer is usually a very cheap brand though, so the ferrari is sort of an anomaly

Alls I know is that this computer kicks ***. I want to find a way to hook it up to my car somehow. Need cables or something. No idea how I would do it but it would look pretty cool.
