I'm in the same boat, man. My free-with-sign-up flip phone is as bare bones as you can get, but it handles calls and texting like a champ. I've "field tested" the hell out of this thing too. It takes abuse very well.

I'll probably get with it and pick up something a bit more sophisticated at some point, but I think this phone still has quite a bit of mileage left so it won't be any time soon.

If LG Dare is similar to the LG Prada, I would have to say touch screen technology-wise is far superior than the iPhone.

I'm too much of a phone *****.

Great comparison, M6amba! lol
No seriously, Congrats for the phone.
I think that for Media is by far the best phone, however, it turns to be pretty slow on the internet and by running applications, it freezes a lot too.
The only reason why I like the Iphone is because of its media, the hardware and its resolution, it feels great also. But I got myself the Samsung Instinct instead. Internet is faster, applications load quicker, can record video.lol Turn by turn GPS, tv radio and all that stuff, and it's waay cheaper than the Iphone ( unless you jailbreaked it and are using Tmobile, but it's more expensive anyways)
Well I'm happy with what I have. you'll ge. to know it and love it the way it is. Congrats it's an upgrade!

i was trying to be sarcastic...guess i should have used a wink face instead of just smiley?
lol

hey man, bottom line is...ask 100 different people what the best cell phone is and you will get 101 different answers. its allllll personal preference, and what network your on...ie. verizon=dare, att=iphone, sprint =instinct, tmobile=G1
unless your on att, and can get ahold of an HTC touch diamond/touch pro....touch pro will be my next phone, once it comes to verizon....damn them, i wish they would get on the sim card bandwagon.....
