i love these things! the first true muscle car done right in the last three decades, imo...except for maybe the 5.0...but these things are HAWT! LS2 engine, 400hp, fairly cheap, and f-in mean...anyone else loving these things as much as i am?

 

they are fukin badass for sure.. the only thing is.. i wish they would have switched up the stylilng a little bit.. it looks too much like a 2 door grand prix w/ some sort of sport package..

they should have set the styling for that car far apart from their other line of vehicles.. they ******* rock for sure though

 

Its pontiac... they dont have the best styling in the world.. In fact i think all GM designers who arent working on the vette should be fired.

 

but theyre pretty nice.. I ran against one at the dragstrip when i went a month ago. Not sure what engine he had in it.. but he trailered it and i think he had exhaust or cams done... It was ok.

 

the styling i actually like...it doesn't look pretty, and it doesn't look fast, just like the original heaters from the 60s.

 

Even stock they do sound mean, i don't think that i would own one, but eh...
So how much horsepower can car manufactures stuff into a stock car, the numbers keep going up, along with gas prices.

I test drove a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 yesterday, holy **** does that thing move! I have a worked 5.2 liter in my Jeep that is fast, but this thing kicks ***. 415 horse with 410 ft/lbs torque, christ.

 

oh god yeah...there was an srt8 jeep at the drag as well..thing ran like a 13.3 . Thing is fast for a heavy car.

Too bad they are discontinuing the GTO as well.

yeah..id assume so.. its a shame..one of the nicest cars they had.. that and GM is practically going under.. Do a search on pontiac GTO discontinued, and you should get more info. I remember seeing an article on edmunds about 2 months ago.

 

power is awesome, but the styling is quite...bleh. Although you can do stuff to enhance the styling later.
