Hmmm, nice feature but the interface is a bit hosed. Say for instance you're trying to look up a 1998 Audi A4 2.8 Quattro, you pick 1998 and "Audi" pops up for the "Make" by default; so far so good. Unfortunately "A4 Quattro Sedan (8D2)" is automatically selected for the "Model" field, and unless you change the model to something else, wait for the results, and then change it back to the A4, you are unable to select the engine and then receive results.

give *some* people a free grape, and the complain that it's not peeled!

(I'll pass your critique back and see if they can resolve that)

Keep the comments coming, and, help me spread the word (i.e. cut & paste the link in some of the other sub-forums you visit)

We're working to make this place a l'il bit better & fun-er. Don't hesitate to offer suggestions stolen from other forums you frequent.

Please understand I was not intending on complaining or griping; just that the interface could be a little confusing for some. Long story short, I appreciate the service the new feature provides for the membership here.

I used it the other day and it worked great for my Chevy truck. There was no default anything in any of the boxes.

My first crack at using the new feature was with IE8 running on Windows 7 (work computer); the drop-downs work better with IE9 running on my Windows 7 laptop and better still with Safari.
