The commercial is actually hilarious...after watching the whole thing. Don't know how well this style of ads is going to bode for the company, in terms of persuading those that are not already audi-lovers, like us.
Have you seen the interior of the new a6 (on audiusa.com)?? OMG!!!! I had to shower and change my clothes after. lol.

I laughed when he groaned when he saw the Lexus. I can't wait for Transformers and GI Joe. I hope they don't blow it with the GI Joe movie. But as least it has Snake Eyes, and he is my favorite. Anyone see the Etrade singing baby comercial? That was one of the funniest I think.

I think its a decent tactic (the 'attack' ads). No enthusiast is going to be swayed away from their brand, so you market to the people who are undecided. With that said, the 'Meet the Beckers' vids, IMO, sum up drivers pretty well. Most of the BMW drivers I know personally are sort of a-holes, old people drive MB's, and we won't even get into Lexus... So, if you don't want to be grouped with a-holes, old people, or Lexus drivers, an Audi seems like a pretty good call.

And that crap about Jeremy Clarkson saying Audi is the new a-hole car.... I won't believe that until I see him owning one, because he's the biggest a-hole of all.

Click on the 5th one I love the part in the commercial when the a8 is driving up a huge ski lift.

that was probably the best part of the commercial, the expression on his face when he was the Lexus was pricelss...
I didn't see the GI Joe one but did see the Transformers and thought it looked awesome..saw the new star trek one too

I'd say the etrade babies was the funniest one

I was upset with the star trek trailer because of the dude 'welding'. He's moving the weld rod like, 10 times faster than he should be for a real weld, not to mention, I don't think you'd be arc welding a spaceship that can travel the speed of light.

I get hung up on stupid ****.

Someone posted a link to a YouTube video of filming from Day One of the new Transformers movie, and it started out with an R8 being passed by two bikes (I'm assuming some or all of the vehicles are transformers too). If the R8 is one, and they market the toy, I will own a few of them

About 12 seconds into the superbowl transformers trailer you see a R8 transform. Lets hope for toys. : )

I don't really think it was an attack add either. I think it was saying that Merc was the car in the 70s, BMW was the car in the 80s, Lexus was the car in the 90s (although they did jab at Lexus when he groaned), and Audi in the car for the 00s
