well, i dont watch the superbowl. I dont even have cable, so I require things like the internet and newsletters to see things like Audi commercials. I'm at the laundromat right now.

what's with Audi's new attack ads?? What happened to the elegant commercials? now in every-single commercial they're claiming to out-class bmw and mercedes. Audi is my favourite of the three, and I don't even like bmw (personally), but in no way does it out-class either.

 

Regarding the supercharged A6, audis newest powerplant is a 3.0 V6 with a roots type, 4 lobe, twin screw supercharger. Its very similar to the blower on the corvette ZR1 and is very efficient. It allows this powerplant to have better power and torque curves than the outgoing 4.2 V8 while also boosting fuel economy. Look for it in the S4, A6, S5 cabrio, soon replacing the v8 in the S5 coupe, and perhaps to be found in an upcoming TTRS. Now you know! Its badged as 3.0T .... but its a turbo-supercharger not an exhaust gas turbocharger...

I thought it was a good commercial, i liked last years R8 one better though.
