Default Need Your Opinions.....Time to Sell !!

I am the origional owner of a 1984 Audi 4000S Quattro in near perfect condition. It has 109K miles and runs & drives like new. It is a little unusual in that it was in the last batch of 1500 sent to the US in 84. The final shipment had some changes to the regular 84. My car has Factory installed header, Bosch fuel injection, PDL, PW, Power 2 way sunroof, spoiler, different Quattro Sport badging, chocolate interior and BLK/wht/ paint (no chrome). I have treated it like a baby(always garaged). I have only added a Scorpion Catback exhaust, new H&R pro/street suspension, Borbet 15" wheeels w/ Michelin XGT-H4's. I am thinking about selling it on Ebay internationally, but my problem is, I have never seen another car like it, have no idea what to ask for it and no idea what reserve price to put on it. I paid $17,200 for it in 84 from Ellis Porsche / Audi in Atlanta ,Ga. It was going round & round on a turnstil and I just couldn't resist, it was gorgeous. Any suggestions on how to sell it or price it would be greatly appreciated.

Well seeing as how there is an '83 UrQuattro w/ 131k on the clock for 10 grand; set the reserve at 10 grand.

you could just gift it to me.....but if that doesn't float your boat, yeah for something seemingly that rare, 10K doesn't seem to bad for it. hell I was willing to pay 8K for a URS6 with 200+K on it but instead I got my Durango.

^ Ditto. I was looking at S6 Avants then I got a Chevy truck. It's got a v6 but it's got ground clearance and I can take it mudding. I'll get an Audi as a project car.

It is definitely one of those things that is going to take the "right person" to buy. I think might be on the right track with going the ebay route, higher exposure.

As far as pricing, you need to make up your mind about what the minimum amount you are willing to take would be and go from there. I don't think that a $10K reserve is unreasonable. Like I said earlier thought it is definitely going to take the "right person" to feel that it is worth the expense.

Bump -I am putting it on Ebay with a 10K reserve. I am going to advertise it internationally, because if you live in Canada, Norwway, Sweden, or anywhere in the "ice belt" you know this car is a "bulldog" in snow. It is a creampuff. Any comments?
