Has anyone been to Napa Valley in i guess Northern California
any good wineries or places to see or stay at

Go eat at the CIA while you are there. You will be close to several wineries then and have a great meal.

The big name wineries are set up for lots of tourist traffic, but they don't always have the best wine. You can get a lot of books and webpages with maps that show routes you can take so you can hit around 3 or 4 pretty easy in a day. If you are going hard you can hit alot more, but that's not always as much fun.

I'm guessing that you are fairly new to wine, so just get a map and take it easy and find out what you like.

yea i plan to take it easy then after Napa
im gonna go to San Fran so anyone know any good spots there also
