This is my first time working with LinkedIn and now I am faced with the problem of the cover, I want a good design, but I have not yet figured out how to achieve this. Can anyone help?

I'm not a pro in using it because my profile is only 3 months old, but I've already found some tips to make my page more attractive. And yeah, you're right, you need to create a good banner for your cover describing your abilities, basic info, or anything else you want. Of course, this is more common for the companies there, but it's useful for regular users too. There is a linkedin banner maker on the web that helps to create covers with beautiful designs. My friends already used it and are satisfied with that tool. I think I'm gonna use it too because I wanna make my profile look cool. You can check this tool too and then to share your opinion.
