just keep your speed up in the corners and your momemtum will carry you around the track
you only need to go as fast as the corner and tires will allow you to go, the rest is just breaking...

i was thinking i would have to do soemthing about the nitrous when on the track but i dont know what. But i would be flooring it after every corner hence releasing nitrous and that much nitrous would be bad.

Ok one it wouldnt be the first mistake b/c the first part of a racing line is to get on the throttle at the apex of the corner. Unless u were talking about racing with nitrous at all with i would think is a bad idea also. And remember my car is AWD so full throttle wont spin this car liek it would have in my RWD mustang GT. I dont think i have enought power to do much of any spinning of skidding unless i did something really bad.

On track, you need to be smooth with the throttle, otherwise you end up unbalancing the car, which leads to fucked up lines, and a slow lap time. Nitrous would be a very bad idea as you are a novice. If I were you, do what every other sane person does when first going onto the track, and learn the course first. If that means going a little slower, then fine, as you'd probably be the slowest anyway! Then you can speed it up as you get to know where you supposed to be before, during, and after each corner. If you do wanta good lap,. then corners are where you do it, not the straights. Anybody can stamp their foot on the throttle on a straight, but it is the braking style, and cornering style that gets you round quickest. It might be worth getting a little tuition from the tracks instructors. They will normally take you out, and give you some VERY uselful advice before you do anything daft, and total your car. To be honest with you APG, it sounds like you will be treating the trackday as a bit of a real life GT4. I'm not sure I'd want to be on track with you.
