How i got the car, before wash. Check out the door jambs and sils.
After wash, wheels and all
After clay, This is more accurate of the tan/off white color i recieved the car in. Look at the pics closely you'll see the oxidized embeded dirt.
Pre PC polish work
wtf picture
Polish test SSR1 on Green pad.
Whole hood done. none of the fenders.
Side quarter panel. Look at the line where the two blue tape ends. tan, not tan.
Trunk, it should speek for its self.
After clay, polish, wax ect.

Thought you might like an update, so i'm typing it as i am taking a break.
I am working on a fellow PNW'rs car,
Here is my pm to him
the wheels went well, there are a couple of spots where it looks like the polish is chipped. Other than that they cleaned up real nice.
The wash went real well, it looked wonderfull just washed and dried.
Claying. well this is where you see the lie that was the wash. You baby was very very dirty. The trunk,roof, hood, and front drivers quarter pannel took 1/2 a claybar its self. I used another half on the rest of the sides and rear bumper. Speaking of the rear bumper. You had alot of nasty tar, and yellow/orange spots. I tried a bit of tar remover and they would not budge. But after 1.5 hours of claying the back bumper and the beginings of the two rear sides. You are yellow/orange spot free.
Right now She's all taped up. I'm ready to begin polishing here in a few minutes. I think it will go real well as i took the extra time to clay very very thougroughly.
I should be done with the polish and wax tonite, Leaving me the interior and trims for the morning.
Anywho I thought you would like an update. Ttyl if you have any questions call.

For those of you who do not know mike he's a great guy. Here is his ride, his pride and joy. He loves this thing. I recieved it in very clean condition. As clean as you could hope for. He curbrashed his ADm's the week before! yeah it was a shame.
The first few pics are of the wheels. He's got a lot of pitting and some chipping. I went real light on the cleaning on these. Just car wash and elbow grease. When in a tough spot i used a old piece of megs clay to break free the junk.
Time for cleaning the rims = 1 hour 20 min.
Wash time for car = 1 hour 20 min.
This is the rinse water for just doing his Rear rims, I used a seperate bucket of rinse water for his fronts!
After the wash, everything looks great untill I start to clay.
The horrors of 292's car and Clay. This was kind of a freak thing. I thought the car was nice after was as it had a fair amount of reflection left. As you can see from the clay it was very dirty. The rear bumper was covered in a mix of needle point sized tar and pin head sized orange dots. The rear bumper was an hour and a half process to get rid of everything.
Claying time = 3 hours.
292's clays on the left and right. New clay in the middle. DIRTY!
Polish prep, Taping all exposed edges. An once of preperation is worth a pound of sweat.
taping = 30 min
exterior shots after Polish only, Was about 8:50 pm so.. not great shots.
polish = 3 hours
engine compartment. Dirty, I did clean it and dress all of the plastic and rubber seals, But no clean pics.
Time = part of door sills, engine, hood, trunk.
After 2 coats of natty's blue,
Time= 1 hour.
Interior cleaned carpets, headliner, seats, plasic, door jambs rubber, ect ect. then dressed all but the head liner.
Time line,
door jambs, sills, hood/engine and trunk= 1.5 hours
Interior dash and trim= 1.5 hours
Leather seats = 45 min
Trim on doors, sils, hood, trunk = 45 min
carpet/ headliner. = 30 min
Glass= 45 min Yeah it takes that long to make oily streaky glass that clean 3 cleanings on his glass inside and out.
Final wipe down= 30 min
Total time give or take 20-30 min.
17 hours.
