There was an Audi sitting in a parking garage in Fun with Dick and Jane.

I saw the Audi in Lord of the Rings too. If you look closely to the War Elephants, you can see the four rings inbetween their eyes.

If you guys want realism in a car chase - Bourne Supremacy is your film. The chase in Moscow is as real as it gets in terms of appearance (although it teleports into Berlin for a couple minutes, and skips around Moscow like there's no tomorrow). Just make sure you watch it on an empty stomach - Bourne Supremacy is notorious for making moviegoers gunk. I have to admit I'm a little biased since I bought a total of 9 props from the film, but still.

The chase in Peacemaker has to be commended for one important thing - showing that bullets don't bounce off armored glass and body panels, and that if the same area is hit repeatedly, the armor can be defeated in a matter of seconds.
That chase in B. Supremacy gave me a headache. The editing with all the quick camera cuts didn't allow you to experience the chase from one perspective for more than 2-3 seconds at a time it seemed. Like following a tennis match inside your head.

You know, I have to agree. That aspect of the camera work was grossly overdone. I think the problem was that Paul Greengrass directed documentaries, not action films, so he had no inclination to let the car chase freaks get their fix by showing everything in minute detail (unlike Frankenheimer). Having viewed the entire chase frame by frame (I don't have a life), I gotta say that the editing was pretty sloppy when it came to continuity and such. Aside from what I can only assume was laze and fatigue in post-production, they were in Moscow for only a couple weeks or so and wasted a lot of time because of the weather, etc

Doug Liman produced the second Bourne flick after directing the first. I hope he directs again in the third.
